Regarded as one of the “Ten Famous Teas” of China (those teas, previously only enjoyed by the emperor), this unique and beloved green tea comes from the Zhejiang province and is pan fired or pan roasted. This gives the dry leaf a smooth, flat, sword like appearance.

There are several legends as to how Long Jing gets its name. Our favorite is – in the village of Longjing, the name of the tea is said to be a reference to a well with dense groundwater that when the rain falls, gives the impression of dragons beneath the surface much like how the tea leaves behave during brewing.

  • 2-3 increasing brew time by 1 minute

The above brewing guide should be adjusted to suit your personal tastes and preferences. We recommend rinsing this tea for the best taste. You can do this by pouring water over the leaves at the above temperature and then discarding that water after a few seconds.

Store sealed in a dry place at room temperature
