Da Hong Pao

Sourced from the Wuyi Mountain region of the Fujian province in China, renowned for Oolong teas. This delicious Oolong is as close as an Oolong can get to a Black Tea with larger leaves. Legend has it that this tea gets its name because it cured a Ming Dynasty King’s mother of a grave illness. Following her recovery, as a measure of his gratitude to the tea leaves, the King sent “royal” red robes to drape on the four tea bushes.
