Sourced from the Shizuoka prefecture, a region in Japan next to the Pacific Ocean where harsher, variable weather patterns result in more complex flavor profiles of teas. Hojicha tea is made by roasting Bancha leaves with kukicha twig to create a complex and interesting tea.
